Terms of Service
1. Upon acceptance of our initial design quote, client agrees
to pay DIGITAL ALCHEMY MEDIAWORKS a 50% deposit in advance, the balance of
which is due within 48 hours of completion of the site. Client will then have
ten business days to submit any requests for revision to the site at no additional
charge.
2. All future editing of websites, once a domain is "live" will
require full payment in advance.
3. Client is responsible for providing exact copy for any textual changes
and content in their website, unless they are contracting to have Digital
Alchemy Mediaworks create that content.
4. All websites are tested for appropriate size/viewing on standard web browsers,
and phones. We cannot guarantee that clients with phones, or low resolution
settings on their monitors will not have to scroll to view content. We exercise
no control over the way others set-up their computers. DIGITAL ALCHEMY MEDIAWORKS
follows accepted standards of webdesign, and will demonstrate to the client
upon initial completion, that the elements in their website work with standard
browser settings.
5. In cases in which an invoice for services rendered is not payed within
24 hours of completion of that service, DIGITAL ALCHEMY MEDIAWORKS reserves
the right to suspend that website or terminate the relationship with that
client. In such cases, there are no refunds applicable.
6. Clients are not entitled to refunds on their first year of webhosting,
since that hosting is included at no cost to the client, as a premium offer.
Upon termination of service with DIGITAL ALCHEMY MEDIAWORKS, client may request
a CD ROM of entire website files, to transfer to another hosting company.
They will have seven days in which to do so, unless site is suspended for
non-payment, in which case client waives their right to any of the site's
files.
7. DIGITAL ALCHEMY MEDIAWORKS assumes no responsibility for the content on
its clients' websites, or social media.
